Carl Busateri

carlbusateri@jaschilz.com

Carl was born and raised in Milwaukee, and makes his home in nearby St. Francis. A graduate of Bay View High School, Carl studied at Marquette University before joining the Air Force and serving in Vietnam as a disc jockey [“Good Morning, Vietnam!”]. Leaving the service in 1976, Carl joined his father’s accounting practice and has been in the business full-time ever since.

Carl has been married for 30+ years to Roberta [also a Bay View grad], and their daughter Meghan recently brought granddaughter Layla into their lives. Never forgetting his roots, Carl is actively involved with Milwaukee’s Italian Community Center, and serves as Treasurer of the Order of Sons of Italy [Grand Lodge of Illinois and Wisconsin], and he loves to spend time traveling, experiencing the outdoors, hiking, swimming, and reading.

Tammy Kersten, EA

Tammy is another “local treasure”, an alumnus of Franklin High School and UW-Milwaukee, where — like Joe — she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Since joining our team in 1997, Tammy has proven herself a strong asset to small businesses, specializing in financial statement compilation and QuickBooks accounting; and for individuals, Tammy is an ace tax accountant.

Married with two grown children, Tammy and her husband enjoy going to baseball games, taking motorcycle rides, visiting coffee shops, and traveling.

Janice Lien

janice@jaschilz.com
She is the first of many friendly faces you will encounter when visiting our offices, familiar to many after nearly 15 years with our team. A Milwaukee native, Janice is a “master-juggler” who keeps things humming in the front-office.

Besides having great organizational skills, Janice has a strong creative side as well — she’s a “transplant” from the advertising biz, where she’s been a graphic designer and art director. Her college-aged daughters, Brianna and Brittany, follow in the artistic tradition with their studies in architecture and art history. In her free time, Janice enjoys crafts [anything with art and design!], reading, and music, and is a member of the Polish Hertitage Alliance.
